How permanent is laser hair removal?

Whoever doesn’t want a smooth and silky skin, well we all want it but when comes in spending money we may avoid because either we are out of budget or we won’t try something new. You don’t like hair on your body or your face and you desperately want to look great on every function and without any worries that you have to spend hours in salon or you do it yourself for hours.

Is laser removal giving you permanent results?

The first thing that may hit in your mind is that how permanent is laser hair removal. Instead of giving you a fantasy answer that your hair will never ever will grow, let’s be honest it is not really permanent. In fact, laser hair removal works by heating the hair follicles and it will stop new hair from growing. This, in result will put the hair in a state of dormancy for a long period of time. However, laser hair removal is permanent when the follicle of the hair is completely destroyed.

It depends on your growth cycle

When you are going through a laser treatment and if the hair is growing back you need not to worry and leave the session entirely. You need to understand that it depends on the person’s unique hair growth cycle. Mostly an average person can expect re growth of some hair within a few months.

You will have to undergo several hair removal treatments

It is true that you will see results after your first appointment but if you want your hair to remove permanently then you will have to take several treatments. In four to six sessions you will be able to see 70 to 80% reduction of hair growth. But it doesn’t mean that it may go on forever, once you get the desired results you will have to get the maintenance treatments done once in a year.

Does the laser hair grow back?

Hair that have been treated with laser don’t typically grow back, although re growth is possible in some cases. However, you will have noticeable follicles with each consecutive growth phase and hair doesn’t grow slower after laser hair removal.

How successful is laser hair removal treatment?

Although it is true that laser hair removal effectively delays hair growth for long period but it doesn’t give you permanent hair removal. However, it is considered quite better treatment as compared to waxing or shaving. As multiple treatments may give you the desired results and you will have a tension-free life.
